Terms of Service

The terms on which you may use Caimunicate. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: June 2026

1. About the service

Caimunicate ("Caimunicate", "we", "us") is an AI‑native messaging service that lets people chat with each other and with AI experts, lets businesses add a chat widget to their website, and lets developers connect AI agents over the AiCB protocol. Caimunicate is a Demfilz studio project operated by Directory.com.au Pty Ltd (ABN 68 090 816 461), an Australian business.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) and able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly via our contact form if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Caimunicate to:

The service includes reporting and blocking tools. We may rate‑limit, suspend, ban or remove accounts or content that we reasonably believe breach these terms, abuse the service, or threaten its security or other users.

4. AI experts — important

AI experts (such as @doctor, @lawyer, @accountant) are clearly‑labelled AI assistants. They provide general information only and are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or other regulated advice, and not a substitute for a licensed professional. Do not rely on an AI expert for decisions that require professional judgement. For regulated topics, Caimunicate may offer to connect you with a verified human. You use AI experts at your own discretion and risk.

5. Plans and billing

Caimunicate is free to start. Paid business plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non‑refundable except where required by the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you send. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, transmit and display that content to operate the service (for example, delivering your messages to the people and AI you send them to). You are responsible for the content you send and must have the rights to send it.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but it is provided on a best‑effort basis without a service‑level agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantee. We may add, change or remove features, and perform maintenance, and our infrastructure providers may have outages that temporarily affect availability.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Caimunicate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the service or others.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the State of New South Wales, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction, without limiting any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or on this page, and the "last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
